By commissioner’s request, I gave two of the them a try with laminated covers (Xyron again). Predictably, the covers wouldn’t lie as flat, despite the lamination not being too thick. I remedied that by sewing in a ribbon closure through the binding and covers.

Look at the word “pamphlet”. So weird.
